Digi Time Capsule

Hey Sebastion here!!!

While surfing around the net for things for the baby, I found this great software called “Digi Time Capsule”. Now the name in its self is intriguing… I wanted to know more about it. Here’s what I found… it’s the only all in one journal, scrapbook, photo album, photo editor, video storage. It’s all things pregnancy and then some! Eco-friendly and simple to use! I liked what I read so thought I’d surprise Jennifer and buy her a present. It’s amazing. Not only did she love it, but I did too. There’s even a section for Daddy-to-be that is right on!

It’s hysterical and I really enjoyed using Digi Time Capsule to help Jennifer keep track of all these special moments . So much better than just a journal. I would recommend and buy this for any mommy-to-be or any daddy-to-be who wants to take a very active role in this pregnancy miracle. I can’t say enough about the sweet memories we’ll have at our fingertips because of this little gems ability to capturethe real meaning of pregnancy!

More Info on the Belly Band

Hi… Just an “FYI”, I have to tell you about a jewel of a find… the perfect first piece for my maternity pregnancy clothing… it’s called a belly band. Not only could I wear my un-pregnant slacks n’ jeans longer into the pregnancy but I could wear my pre-pregnancy pants, my maternity pants will now stay up where they are supposed to and they offer enough extra support to help me make it through the day. I stand on my feet all day at work and having the Bella Bands have been nothing short of a lifesaver for me!

I have to admit that I was very skeptical; I bought a cheap brand, early on, and then borrowed three Bella brand bands from a girlfriend. I had to buy my own; the Bella bands were far superior — they are thicker, better made, and provide better support as I got further into my pregnancy. At 26 weeks, they gave me some support as well as helping to hold up the pants that I should have given up for the next size.

The only downside to the bands is that with dress slacks (which often have a shinier material than jeans/khakis) I find the Bella Band slides more and doesn’t always stay put so I am often adjusting it. This minor inconvenience is still worth it for me being able to wear my familiar old pants and the comfort it gave me that I was looking my best.

Wear the Bella Band concealed, or let it peek out from under your top for that hip, layered look. If your top rises, it looks like a t-shirt or camisole — not a funky mechanism to expand your waistband or hold up your pants. Wear your non-pregnant girl pants a little longer and those cute maternity fashions a little sooner. Have more clothes to choose from during your pregnancy and after you give birth, enjoy getting dressed every day, and feel confident with how you look. You’re pregnant! Have fun! Now go out and play.

My Maternity/Pregnancy Pillow Research Results

Hi… When I was doing my research on finding a maternity pregnancy pillow just for me; I came across this article from Right Health Community on the best sleep positions to use. I want to share it with you.

RightHealth Community

During pregnancy you may find yourself wrestling in bed trying to get comfortable before falling asleep. Unfortunately, your regular sleep positions may no longer work for you during pregnancy. There are a number of reasons that cause this new discomfort, but there are some positions that you can try that may help you get your much needed rest.

The best sleep position during pregnancy is “SOS” (sleep on side). Even better is to sleep on your left side. Sleeping on your left side will increase the amount of blood and nutrients that reach the placenta and your baby. Keep your legs and knees bent and a pillow between your legs. These suggestions may not sound completely comfortable, especially if you are used to sleeping on your back or stomach, but try them out and you may find that they work. Keep in mind that you may not stay in one position all night and rotating positions is fine.

Sleeping on your back: This can cause problems with backaches, breathing, digestive system, hemorrhoids, low blood pressure and decrease in circulation to your heart and your baby. This is a result of your abdomen resting on your intestines and major blood vessels (the aorta and vena cava).

Sleeping on your stomach: When you are farther along in your pregnancy, your abdomen undergoes physical changes and makes it more difficult for you to lay on your stomach.Sleeping on your back while pregnant can create pressure on a major vein called the inferior vena cava. This vein returns blood from the lower body to your heart. This may lead to lightheadedness and/or numbness. In addition this may cause pressure on your back and intestines, leading to discomfort.Early in pregnancy, you should attempt to get into the habit of side sleeping. Typically the most comfortable position is with your knees bent. You may wish to place a pillow between your knees to sleep more comfortably.

Improved kidney flow helps to reduce any swelling. Placing a pillow between the knees can help a pregnant woman sleep more comfortably on her side. Also, using a bunched-up pillow or rolled-up blanket at the small of your back may help to relieve some pressure. It is not uncommon to roll onto your back during the night. Shifting positions is a perfectly natural part of sleep. If you do shift it is possible that the baby’s weight may press on the inferior vena cava, causing discomfort and waking you up. ~ righthealth.com

After reading this I really felt I needed a good pregnancy pillow, one that I could put between my legs and curl around. I liked the snoozer pregnancy pillow shape because I felt it wouldn’t take up a lot of room in bed and Sebastian being 6’6″, needs all the space he can get. I hope this will help you in looking for your sleeping aid…

Here’s the maternity/pregnancy pillow I got for myself.

My Maternity Pregnancy Pillow

I know I said that I’d show you where to find great looking maternity cloths, but before that I want to let you know about a maternity pregnancy pillow that is a must if you want to get some good sleep. I’ve found that when I was pregnant with Sammy (Samuel), that it was difficult with my size to get comfortable at night. My feet and legs were swollen and the pain in my lower back prevented me from getting in the right position for sleep and my darling husband, Sebastian, tried to help by surrounding me with pillows… but that got to be too much for both of us.

So back to an online search, I’d heard about these miracle maternity pregnancy pillows which allowed a Mom-To-Be a good nights sleep. I finally found this candy cane shape pillow, called the Snoozer Full Body Pillow and really liked what they had to say about it, that I had to try it for myself. Well, it changed my nights, I just curled around the soft curve of the u shape pregnancy pillow, and it cradled me and my baby comfortably with just the right support… the Snoozer pregnancy pillow, being ergonomically designed helped reduced my swollen feet and eased the pain in my back. Now I know that there is nothing that will take away all the discomforts of being pregnant, but having just this maternity pregnancy pillow really has helped and I would highly recommend it. I found out now, that using this pregnancy pillow really works well as a breast feeding pillow when feeding Sammy. If your experiencing back pain with your pregnancy, then I recommend you look into getting your self the Snoozer Pillow.

Pregnancy Stages and Belly Bands

Hi… Just an “FYI”, about those early pregnancy clothes… well I didn’t want to start buying maternity pregnancy pants just to outgrow them as I got bigger so I found the perfect piece of clothing to extend the use of my pre-pregnancy pants… it’s called a belly band. Now these belly bands (and I opted for the BellaBand, for the quality n’ fashion look) really extended the use of my jeans n’ slacks through the early pregnancy stages. They gave me the layered look that is so popular; they looked like it was just a tank top covering my waistline. I enjoy getting dressed every day, and I was comfortable knowing that my pants wouldn’t fall down on me, and enjoyed the confident feeling of knowing how well I looked… I was pregnant!

I used these bands well into my 6th month of pregnancy. Not only could I wear my pre-pregnancy pants, my maternity pants now stay up where they were supposed to and they offered enough extra support to help me make it through the day. I stand on my feet all day at work and having the BellaBands have been nothing short of a lifesaver for me!

Maternity/Pregnancy – Clothing Options?

I found maternity/pregnancy clothes that make me look beautiful and I now feel good about the way I look with my baby belly.

Lately, a lot of women have been asking how I can look so good while being pregnant. Just yesterday my friend Ashley from work asked “I thought you were pregnant? How do you do it, you don’t look pregnant.”

But it wasn’t always like this, I used to feel uncomfortable with my pregnancy. I’d wonder if my husband was loosing interest in me as I began to expand, I know it sound silly – but it was how I felt. Being so big, I was beginning to feel unattractive.

So I started to do some research on how to look good while being pregnant, and after several hours of digging I found out just that…

Well I figured I would write a blog and share with the world my newly found secret to looking hot while pregnant. Even my husband still says I’m smoking hot, which makes me feel kinda good even though I’m sporting my baby belly.

I’ll show you what I found, the best maternity jeans, dresses, t shirts, and maternity clothes for early and late pregnancy to look for — as well as provide some examples.
