If you have decided to have a baby shower for a close friend, familyy member, or whoever and you have no ides where to start then here are a few ideas that you should find helpful.

One of the very first things that you need to do is to create a list and organize it, if you require some help to get the list straight then get into contact with the expecting moms parents.  When the guest list is completed you will have an idea of how many guests will be attending.  Making it easier to have a good estimate of how much food, drink, and party favors are needed. There is an endless number of games that can be played that are listed on the Internet.  Many of the games can be played with household objects.  All of the guests will get into the baby shower mood by playing these games.  One of my favourite baby shower games is to have the guests estimate how many sheets of toilet paper the expecting mothers belly is.  The results will be surprising.  Everybody like to play the baby shower games, people will start talking to each other and they help people get into the baby shower mood.

The main event at the baby shower will be when the mom to be gets to open the gifts for the new baby.  Everybody will enjoy watching as it is very exciting seeing all the tiny little outfits and tiny little trinkets.  The gifts help the mom to be a lot as the first few months of raising a baby can be expensive. If nobody knows of the baby’s sex yet then be sure to request to the guests to give gifts that are unisex, but if the sex of the baby is known them it makes everything so much easier. It would also be a good idea to have to expecting mother to register at some online stores or retail stores.  This can make life a lot easier for many guests.
